Terms of Service — WTG

1. Acceptance
By downloading or playing WTG ("the app", "the game"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is provided by jorpac ("we", "us"). Contact: jorpac99@gmail.com.
2. Unofficial game — non-affiliation
WTG is an independent, unofficial football career game. It is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any football club, league, competition, governing body, or person. Some club and competition names may refer to or resemble real-world entities; such names are used for identification and descriptive purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners. WTG uses no official crests, logos, kits, or real player names or likenesses.
3. Licence to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play WTG on devices you control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or its content except as permitted by law.
4. In-app purchases
The app offers optional in-app purchases ("IAP") processed through Google Play Billing:
- Consumable items (e.g., energy refills, in-game cash, starter pack, supporter tip) are used up when granted and can be bought again.
- Non-consumable items (e.g., Remove Ads) are a one-time, durable entitlement tied to your Google account, and can be restored via the app's restore function.
- All prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase and are set through Google Play.
- Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable. They exist only inside the game.
- No pay-to-win: purchases sell convenience (skipping waits, removing ads, cosmetic support) and never grant an unfair gameplay advantage over players who do not pay.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy and applicable consumer law. We do not separately process payments and cannot independently issue refunds for Google Play transactions.
5. Your game data
WTG stores your progress locally on your device. We do not back up your save to our servers. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or changing devices may permanently delete your progress. Non-consumable entitlements (such as Remove Ads) can be restored through Google Play. Achievements and leaderboard scores are kept by Google Play Games Services under your Google Play Games profile; we may remove scores that appear to result from cheating.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use cheats, exploits, modified clients, or automation to manipulate the game, its purchases, or its achievements and leaderboards; attempt to defraud the billing system; or use the app unlawfully.
7. Advertising
The app displays third-party ads (Google AdMob). We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites/apps they lead to. Purchasing Remove Ads stops ads from being shown.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature (including items in the store) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you for any such change or discontinuation.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the game evolves. The current version is always posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
